<p>A chair made of vertical front legs (1), arched rear legs (2) which are extended upwards over a seat (3) so that on the upper parts of the rear legs (2) any kind of a back (4) is placed, the front legs (1) are connected under the seat (3) by a spindle (5), whereas the rear legs (2) to each other as well as each rear leg (2) to the respective front leg (1) are all together connected by a curved rear lower spindle (6), is arranged in such a manner that approximately in the area of the seat (3) the rear legs (2) are bent rearwards and outwards to such an extent that a distance (A) between the front leg (1) and the respective rear leg (2) in the place of the curved rear lower spindle (6) lying approximately at one half of the height of the front leg (1) and paralelly to the seat (3) amounts to at least as much as the distance between the front leg (1) and the rear leg (2) in the place of the seat (3) increased for two thicknesses (B) of the front leg (1).</p> |
