<p>Disclosed is an apparatus for searching through one or more databases (201, 203, 205). The apparatus includes at least one hard wired search engine (904) arranged to receive the key and one or more programmable search parameters and to search through the data base for an address entry corresponding to the received key. The search is alterable by the programmable search parameters. Methods for searching through multiple data bases (100) are also disclosed.</p> |
