PURPOSE: A method for producing quick cooling aluminum alloy powder and quick cooling aluminum alloy matrix composite powder is provided to obtain high quality aluminum alloy products at a low cost and an extrusion material thereof is provided by manufacturing billet having inert gas film, thereby reducing the heat treatment cost and increasing the yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing quick cooling aluminum alloy powder and quick cooling aluminum alloy matrix composite powder includes the steps of melting aluminum alloy, discharging the liquid metal through a nozzle(2) from a liquid metal store(1), injecting the liquid metal between the water cooling type twin rolls(3,3a) rotating 100-1000rpm under the control of spring(4,4a) for automatically controlling the gap between the twin rolls, and quick cooling the liquid metal to obtain the aluminum alloy flake of 50-1000micrometer in thickness, 10-50mm in width, and 30-100mm in length.
