The road surface has at least one traffic lane (3) provided over at least part of its length with a profile (10), generating a predetermined multi-note melody when a vehicle (12) drives over it. The profile comprises a number of parallel, elongated raised formations (11) and/or depressions, which extend at an angle of more than 0 degrees with the length direction of the road surface (1). The raised formations and/or depressions extend at an angle of 90 degrees with the length direction of the road surface. The profile comprises two or more tracks (10,10b) parallel to each other which have different shapes, so that the different melodies generated when a vehicle (8) drives over them are allotted to them. |
