The bullet-proof car has bullet-proof plates mounted in its interior which are connected by nuts and bolts. A socket (8) is mounted in a bore (7) in one plate (2). This has a first socket section which surrounds the nut (10) and has a flange (8') which fits over the edge of the plate. A second U-shaped section (3) facing in the opposite direction encloses the bolt head (4') and is welded to the other plate (1)
