PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the running cost by operating an adsorbent member for adsorbing malodorous components and harmful components in air by an operation means, shifting an adsorption part and a regeneration part in the inside and outside of a regeneration space, and carrying out the adsorption operation at the static operation time and the regeneration operation at the shifting operation time. SOLUTION: At the time of adsorption operation for purifying air in a room, while a driving means 23 is not started to keep adsorption rotor 12 still, a blower 13 is started. Airborne dust and the like are collected and removed by an electric dust collecting unit 11 and at the same time malodorous components and harmful components are removed by the adsorption rotor 12. On the other hand, at the time of regeneration operation of the adsorption rotor 12, the operation means 23 is started to rotate the adsorption rotor 12 and electricity is applied to a plurality of heaters 16, 21 and at the same time, a heat resistant fan 17 and a gas discharge fan 22 are respectively started. Consequently, a high temperature treatment gas is circulated in a regeneration space 14 to desorb the malodorous components and the like from the adsorption rotor 12, and restore the regeneration part 12c to be clean. |
