PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pulverize charcoal to be used for a mixed material of bamboo and charcoal in an explosion-proof state without providing a complicated device or a special installation, at a low cost. SOLUTION: First, 30-95 wt.% bamboo meal and 70-5 wt.% charcoal are charged into a grinding/mixing mixer 1 to perform the grinding and mixing and the bamboo meal is dried by heat generated at the time of grinding. Thus the charcoal is pulverized in an explosion-proof condition and the fine powder/ grain of the charcoal is adhesively fixed to the surface of the powder/grain of the bamboo meal to obtain the mixed material of bamboo and charcoal. Then, 20-70 wt.% mixed material of bamboo and charcoal thus obtained, 80-30 wt.% binder, and 0.1-1 wt.% addition or of compatibilizing agent, as required, are melted and mixed by stirring with the grinding/mixing mixer 1. Consequently, the mixed material of bamboo and charcoal in a fluid state, ready to immediate injection molding and extrusion molding, can be prepared.
