PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a cleaning effect by routine cleaning only. SOLUTION: A treating solution obtained by diuting a biodegradable cleaning agent composition with water is prepared (1), and the treating solution is injected (2) from a nozzle so as to adhere the solution onto the surface of a floor material and between fiber bundles in mist state and form linear wet band zones, and a vertically rotated roll brush having a brush width equal to the wet band area is movably run while brushing at a proper brush pressure against the floor material immediately after the injection. During the running, sewage or contamination is wiped off the floor material, and separated and collected from the brush (3). The biodegradable cleaning agent composition is a vegetative engyme cleaning agent, contains at least a hydrolase derived from papaya and a higher alcohol-based nonionic surface active agent derived from palm oil, and has an amount ratio of 80 wt.% or higher of the surface active agent.
