PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove copper and iron contained in hot water in an electric kettle. SOLUTION: A water purifying part 11 is provided in the circulation path 9 of hot water connected from the lower part of a container 1 provided with a heating element 2 provided on the inner side of a body 12 to the upper part of the container 1 and a ceramic molding 10 containing quartz porphyry, feldspar and clay and calcined within the range of 1100-1300 deg.C so as to turn an apparent porosity to be 10% or less is housed in the water purifying part 11.
