PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an allylamine derivative in high yield by reacting an acetylene derivative with an amine derivative in the presence of a palladium compound and a weakly acidic compound. SOLUTION: The objective compound of formula III such as N,N-dibenzyl-(3- phenyl-2-propenyl)amine can be produced by reacting (A) an acetylene derivative of formula I [R1 is a (substituted) aryl; R2 and R3 are each H, an alkoxy, a (substituted) alkyl or the like] with (B) an amine derivative of formula II [R4 and R5 are each an acyl, an alkoxycarbonyl, an organic sulfonyl, a (substituted) alkenyl or the like; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is 0 or 1] in the presence of (C) a palladium compound (e.g. palladium chloride) and (D) a weakly acidic compound (e.g. benzoic acid). Preferably, the amounts of the component B and the component C are 0.5-5 equivalent and 0.01-0.5 equivalent based on the component A, respectively, and the amount of the component D is 0.0001-0.5 g-atom in terms of Pd based on 1 mol of the component A. |
