PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of dew condensation after the regeneration of an adsorbing member in an air cleaning apparatus cleaning indoor air by the adsorbing member and oxidatively decomposing the malodorous or harmful component adsorbed on the adsorbing member by a catalyst to deodorize or detoxify the same. SOLUTION: A heater 16 for desorbing a malodorous or harmful component from an adsorbing member, a decomposition part 19 (oxidizing catalyst 19a) decomposing the malodorous or harmful component desorbed from the adsorbing member 12 and a blower 17 for circulating treated gas into a regeneration part 14 are arranged in the regeneration part 14 covering at least a part of the adsorbing member 12 and the treated gas in the regeneration space 14 is replaced with the open air.
