摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely join a rotating shaft to a fitting element forming a torque transmission mechanism without generating chips. SOLUTION: An iron hardening rod element 18 is press fitted into a fitting hole 121 bored by a drill before hardening treatment. The diameter D1 of the hardening rod element 18 is made to be larger than the diameter D2 of the fitting hole 121 before hardening and smaller than the diameter D3 of a fitting peripheral surface 111 of a rotating shaft 11. The difference between the diameter D2 of the fitting hole 121 and the diameter D1 of the hardening rod element 18 (D1-D2) becomes a difference which does not generate chips on a peripheral surface 122 of the fitting hole 121, and deforms the peripheral surface 122 within an elasticity limit.</p>
