PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote miniaturization of a multi-array type printer and manufacture the printer with a high production yield without generating a printing blank part of heads arranged parallel even when the printer is made a multi- array type. SOLUTION: A nozzle absence area 46 of a breadth D0 is present at a most end part (most right end part) of a head chip 40. Landing points by an ink drop fly locus 53 by end nozzles 52-2 of an end area 45 are spaced by a pitch d1 while landing points plotted by the ink drop fly locus 53 by center nozzles 52-1 of a central area 44 are spaced by a pitch (d). A landing point 62 formed by an end nozzle 52-2N of the most end part is positioned to a position inside by d1/2 from a chip boundary 61. A pitch to a landing point by an end nozzle of a most left end part of a right adjacent head chip becomes d1. A nozzle tilt angleθ(n) of each end nozzle 52-2n holds (θ)n=arctan nxD/(NxL), and the pitch d1 holds d1=d+D/N.
