STEERING SUPPORT DEVICE IN TANDEM PARKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support device in tandem parking enabling a driver to easily grasp the timing and quantity of steering in the tandem parking. SOLUTION: A vehicle is stopped when a target point S1 is overlapped with a steering start guideline 24 on an image plane 19, and a steering wheel is turned to put a steering quantity guide mark 31 on the target point S1. The vehicle is then reversed while holding the steering angle of the steering wheel. The vehicle is stopped when the target point S1 is put on an eye-mark 23. The steering angle of the steering wheel is maximized in the opposite direction by steering without driving to reverse the vehicle, and the vehicle is stopped when a vehicle width guideline 20 is parallel with a road side line 32.
