PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which allows checking the amount of medals stored therein, without opening the front door of the slot machine. SOLUTION: A medal storage tank 70 stores medals inserted through a medal slot, and a medal dispenser 80 dispenses the medals stored in the medal storage tank as prize. First to fifth stored amount detecting parts 91-95 detect in plural steps the amounts of medals stored in the medal storage tank, and a stored amount monitoring part 180 displays the detected results to a medal amount display part 60. The medal amount display part 60 allows the contents displayed to be viewed from outside the slot machine.
