PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably keep the good cylindrical shape over a long period by burying a reinforcement layer approximately over the whole width and length, and burying a first auxiliary layer formed of at least one rubber coated cord layer in a part of a belt excluding both width ends. SOLUTION: The belt 11 comprises the rubber 12, a reinforcement layer 13 placed in the rubber 12, a first auxiliary layer 14 having high tensile elastic modulus and located on a radial outer part with respect to the reinforcement layer 13 in a state of the belt 11 cylindrically deformed, and a second auxiliary layer 15 of low tensile elastic modulus. To add the tensile force to the first auxiliary layer 14 when the belt 11 is shaped into the cylinder, the first auxiliary layer 14 is located on the radial outer part with respect to the auxiliary layer 13 in a state of the belt 11 cylindrically deformed. The difference (d) between the bending strength of a new belt and that after the use of the belt, is smaller than that of a conventional belt. Accordingly the deterioration characteristic of the bending strength after the use is improved in comparison with the conventional one.
