PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality printed matter comparable with offset print without requiring production of an intricate press plate and to print even a sheet of different image easily every time. SOLUTION: An ink layer 3 of liquid ink having viscoelasticity is partially heated depending on image information with heat generated by irradiating the photosonductive layer 7 in an intermediate recording medium 4 thereby increasing the electric conductivity of the photosonductive layer 7. Liquid ink 12 only in the partially heated part is transferred to the intermediate recording medium 4 having inkphobic properties thence transferred to a matter 8 being printed. |
