PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation and phase determination device for a crank shaft, capable of dispensing with phase determination for a pin part at a place directly under a high frequency induction heating coil, and of shortening cycle time for heat treatment (hardening and the like). SOLUTION: This device is provided with a stationary beam 14 to which V-shaped blocks 11 to 13 for supporting a journal part are fixed, a movable beam 25 to which V-shaped blocks 21 to 24 for supporting the journal part are fixed, a transportation mechanism formed out of an elevation mechanism 50 for the movable beam 25, and of an advancing and retreating mechanism, a pin part supporting V-shaped block 12 to be disposed at a place identical to that of the V-shaped block 12 for the stationary beam 14 in the transporting direction of a crank shaft 70, and to be faced to a given pin part identical in phase while being equally spaced, an elevation mechanism permitting the V-shaped block to be vertically elevated, and with a V-shaped block holding a pin part 1P determined in phase at a place right under the rotation shaft center of the crank shaft 70.
