PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gap of an inserting seal part from being opened during being displayed by hunging. SOLUTION: In a hanging type packaging box wherein a front sheet 1, a back sheet 2, a pair of side sheets 3 and 3 and a bottom wall 4 are provided and a lid sheet 5 extending from the top edge of the front sheet 1 is closed and a hanging piece 8 extending from the apex edge is inserted into a box and a hanging piece 8 extending from the top edge of the back sheet 2 is folded back to the front downward and the apex part is inserted into a box and a hanging hole 9 for inserting a hook F through is provided on the outside part of the box of the hanging piece 8, an inserting piece 13 extending from the central part of the apex edge of the lid sheet 5 is inserted into the laminated part of the hanging piece 8 through an inserting hole 14 formed on the hanging piece 8. As the central part of the top edge of the front sheet 1 is connected with the hanging piece 8 through the lid sheet 5 and the inserting piece 13, even when the box is inclined so as to work the load of a product on the front sheet during being displayed by hanging, the front sheet is not bent and there exists no possibility of generating a gap in the inserting seal part of the inserting piece 7.
