PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging machine for bagging whose high-speed operation is possible, whose structure is not much complicated, and which can easily cope with change of the size, material or the like of a bag and with variations of characteristics (easy of bubbling, viscosity, filling quantity, etc.), of a filling material. SOLUTION: A and packaging machine continuously transferable bagging has multi- paired bag holding members arranged at equal intervals on an endless chain 1 rotating continuously in one direction along an annular path in a horizontal plane and a packaging processing device including a bag supply unit 2, a bag mouth opening unit 4, a liquid object filling unit 5, a sealing unit 7, etc., which are successively arranged along the annular path. The bag supply unit 2, the bag mouth opening unit 4 and the sealing unit 7 have packaging processing means (holding means 12, suction pad 13 and sealing bars 16-18) for performing following/returning operation that these units move following the movement of the plural-paired bag holding members along the annular path and then return to their original positions. In this case, a servomotor, which is set separately from a driving power source for the rotation of the endless chain, is used as a driving power source for the following/returning operation.
