PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fuel tank slimmer as a whole while maintaining a predetermined volume and to provide an optimum knee grip. SOLUTION: In this configulation structure, the rear end of a fuel tank 5 is extended backward beyond the rear end of a main frame 2 as an extension 16, which is positioned below a seat 6 and between right and left seat rails 3. Since the fuel tank 5 is thus enlarged below the seat 6, a portion in front of the seat 6 is reduced in width, height and length for slimming although a predetermined volume is maintained as a whole. In particular, a knee grip is narrowed to provide an optimum riding position.
