The socket base (1) has connection chambers arranged in the base, contacts (2) fixed in the base and an upper part. Contact bushes and an earth contact are fitted into the base body of the socket base by shape-locking. The contacts are accommodated by connection chambers (6,7) and secured by an upper cover part against contact and extraction. Two connection inputs and outputs are provided for each of the contact bushes and earth contact and are arranged opposite each other in the socket base.
