<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel paper band which is sufficiently strong in tensile strength, free from producing harmful substances liable to be produced by synthetic resins when incinerated, available for being joined by heat sealing method and undergoing printing made thereon neatly and can be wound up in a roll without requiring a paper tube. SOLUTION: After a kraft paper tape T is folded double in the breadthwise direction and an adhesion is applied thereto, the folded tape is folded further in three and the adhesion is applied, and thereby a hull 1' is formed. A cored structure is materialized with a core material added when the tape is folded in three and while the tape is impregnated with a heat sealing material, winding-up is made without a core. Coloring or printing is made before the impregnation with the heat sealing material is made. A matter made of pulp board or waste paper such as a plain twist cord 5, a liner, a hemp cord or the like is used as the core material. Accordingly, a sufficient tensile strength is maintained with the hull 1' folded in six and the core material, and since the materials are all biodegradable, any harmful gas is not produced even though being incinerated, and furthermore joining can be made instantaneously by a heat sealing method.</p> |
