<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll mill capable of maintaining a good working/sanitary environment without causing a trouble on the confermatory work of the spreading of ink on the roll and without polluting a device and the surroundings. SOLUTION: This roll mill is provided with a feed roll, a center roll 3 and an apron roll 4 and also provided with a mist scattering preventing plate 10 satisfying conditions 1-3. (1) The plate 10 is disposed at the upper side gap formed by both rolls of the center roll and the apron roll in almost parallel in a roll shaft direction and also almost parallel to a line connecting the shafts of both rolls without coming into contact with both rolls. (2) The condition expressed by formula is satisfied at a part occupying >=90% of a roll length. A distance between A1A2/distance between A1A2 + distance between A2B2>r/11, where (r) is radius of the center roll and 3 the apron roll 4. (3) The maximum width of the mist scattering preventing plate in the line direction connecting the shafts of both rolls of the center roll and the apron roll is less than 2r.</p> |
