摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of an electrolysis of raw water in an electrolytic water producing device and to reduce electric power consumption and salt consumption when brine is used as the raw water. SOLUTION: This electrolytic water producing device is constituted by partitioning the inside of an electrolytic cell 10 by a diaphragm 11 to two electrolytic chambers 12 and 13, connecting supply pipes 14 and 15 to one side of the respective electrolytic chambers and connecting extraction pipes 16 and 17 to the other side. The raw water supplied from the respective supply pipes is electrolyzed by impressing DC voltage to electrodes 20 and 21 disposed in the respective electrolytic chambers and is taken out as acidic and alkaline electrolytic water from the respective extraction pipes. The respective electrodes are formed by superposing plural porous electrode blanks varying in the shapes or sizes of mesh from each other. The respective electrodes are preferably so disposed as to abut on both flanks of the diaphragm and both of the inside wall surfaces of the electrolytic cell facing the same. Either of the raw water supplied from the respective supply pipes may be brine.
