PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide keys which can be inserted selectively by fit with key insertion holes of key storage devices and serve also as covers of key holding parts of the key storage devices, the key storage devices which can store and control the keys and a key storage control system which can control the key storage devices in a distributed manner. SOLUTION: Keys with holders, key storage devices 2 storing the keys and a key storage control system constituted of the key storage devices 2 and control devices 1 thereof. The keys with holders and the key storage devices can constitute the key storage control system which reads information written in a magnetic card by a card reader, transmits it to the control devices 1 and collates it with the information registered beforehand and which receives the information consequent on the collation by the key storage devices 2, recognizes the positions of storage of the keys with holders and puts them in a state wherein they can be locked or unlocked.
