PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing type reel for fishing, capable of improving feeding out property of fishing and realizing flying distance up of a device while preventing backlashing and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A centrifugal brake device 90 is equipped with a slide member 92 slidable to the direction of a spool shaft 6 and supported so as to be unable to carry out relative rotation to the spool shaft, a conversion means 94 converting centrifugal force which occurs in rotation of a spool 6a (spool shaft) to linear motion, transmitting the linear motion to the slide member and sliding the slide member to the spool shaft direction, a cyclic braking body 96 capable of positioning and fixing to a reel body 4 and a braking member 98 detachable attaching to the slide member opposite to the cyclic braking body 96, and a desired braking force is imparted to the spool by bringing the braking member into contact with the cyclic braking body 96 in rotation of the spool (spool shaft).
