PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a high frame rate in histological speed imaging or distortion factor imaging by determining a distortion as a tissue deformation parameter by accumulating estimated distortion factors for continuous frames over a certain interval. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic beams 144 are emitted by driving an ultrasonic vibrator 142 through a transmitter 140, an echo reflected in a human body is received with a receiver 146 and sent to a complex demodulation stage 148. Here, an echo signal is obtained in a plurality of range positions along a plurality of ultrasonic beams. However, to generate the first frame of a synthesized tissue image and a tissue movement image, echo signals obtained during the first and second periods are processed, and echo signals acquired during the second and third periods are processed to generate the second frame. Subsequently, in a tissue processing stage 149, a 2D or a 3D image is formed by a B mode processing and displayed on a monitor 154 through a display system 152.
