PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure enough capacity of oil tank of dry sump system lubricating device in power unit case. SOLUTION: This device has a crank case tapered down at left and right looked at from front, and has main shaft 45, counter shaft 46, and output shaft 6 placed vertically at right hand side of crankshaft 5 with oil tank 51 at its right end across partition wall 53. Oil tank 51 is crescent shaped, its bottom end going under bottom of output shaft 6, at bottom end of which is placed intake hole of feed-pump. Right above oil tank 51 is oil pouring hole, and overflow hole toward gearbox room 52. Oil pump 62 is placed inside left of crankcase opposite across crankshaft 5, and scavenge pump suctions oil from sump at bottom end 54b of crankcase. Drain hole 55 leading to oil tank and gearbox room at same time is fitted at bottom of crankcase and is plugged with drain bolt 56.
