PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a tool in safety without falling off whether on a straight line or on a curved line by conveying the tool in a state that a tool holder groove of the tool is engaged with a tool falling-off prevention member when the tool is conveyed by a tool loader. SOLUTION: A tool loader 11 is moved right, and stopped in front of a predetermined tool. Then a motor 37 is operated to turn a ball screw 36, and a nut part 32 is lowered and stopped at a lowermost position. Then the ball screw is turned and stopped when an engagement pin 30 is engaged with an engagement groove 31. Then a tool 12 is upwardly moved with a tool pot 22 by the turning of the ball screw 36, and a tool falling-off prevention claw 38 is engage with a tool holder groove 29. In this state, the ball screw is turned, and the tool 12 is straightly conveyed while revolved with the tool pot 22. Here, the tool falling-off prevention claw 38 is engaged with the tool holder groove 29 of the tool holder 20 to drop the falling-off of the tool 12.
