PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for reducing the temp. of combustion gas and efficiently removing soot from the combustion gas at the same time. SOLUTION: A water spray nozzle 3 is attached to a centrifugal dust collecting apparatus 1 and a cylinder 4 is attached to a centrifugal dust collector 2 to introduce air, steam or mixed gas 8 into the dust collector 2. By combining the centrifugal dust collecting apparatus 1 and the centrifugal dust collector 2, remarkable collecting efficiency is obtained.
