PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine holder structure of four-cycle outboard engine capable of heightening the engine mounting rigidity while the configuration remains simple. SOLUTION: An engine 3 chiefly composed of a crank case 25, cylinder block 24 and cylinder head 23 is mounted over an engine holder 2, and an oil pan 5 is installed below, and a crank shaft 4 is installed inside the engine 3 in vertical attitude approximately, and the torque of the crank shaft 4 is transmitted to a propelling device via a drive shaft 10. In this outboard engine, the drive shaft 10 and crank shaft 4 are arranged so that their axes are offset from each other. |
