PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always fully effectively utilize a motor in a wide range of a region extending from a small discharge amount of a high lift to a large discharge amount area of a low lift. SOLUTION: In this control method for a motor-driven pump to control the number of revolutions of a pump motor to a variable speed by the number of revolutions control part of a control device by receiving from an equipment source, the load fluctuation of a pump is always detected as the number of revolutiosn is controlled such that a preset target power value is adjusted to a constant value. The numer of revolutions is controlled in a manner not to exceed the upper limit set value of a preset motor current, switching to either power constant control or moror current value limit control is carried out to effect control. |
