<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resilience of a ball and improve hitting feel and the controllability with an iron shot and to lessen the flawing of a cover surface. SOLUTION: This golf ball includes a core 1 and one or >=2 layers of coating layers 2 and 3 formed to coat the circumference of the core 1. In such a case, at least one layer of the coating layers 2 and 3 is formed by bringing a rubber composition prepared by compounding 5 to 40 pts.wt.α,βunsaturated carboxylic acid, 5 to 40 pts.wt. metal oxide and 0.1 to 5 pts.wt. polymerization initiator in 100 pts.wt. base material rubber composed mainly of polybutadiene having at least >=40% cis-1,4 structure as a layer forming material into crosslinking reaction.</p> |
