PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subject a large amount of waste gypsum plaster boards to rapid disposal by physically crushing the waste gypsum plaster boards, separating the crushed material into a gypsum fraction and a paper fraction, and thereafter subjecting these fractions to separate disposal, that is, discharging the gypsum fraction as a recycle raw material and also as a material capable of easily being subjected to least controlled disposal. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a crusher 12, a separator 13 placed below the crusher 12, and a classifier 16. The treatment process using the equipment comprises: crushing waste gypsum plaster boards into a crushed material by the crusher 12; transferring the crushed material to the separator 13; separating the crushed material into a gypsum fraction and a paper fraction by a rotor in a cylindrical chamber of the separator 13; discharging the separated fractions of the crushed material from their respective discharge openings; then transferring the separated fractions to the classifier 16 through a second conveyor 14 and a third conveyor 15; and in the classifier 16, further classifying the separated fractions into a gypsum fraction, a paper fraction and an unseparated fraction into the gypsum fraction and the paper fraction. The gypsum fraction is subjected to least controlled disposal. |
