PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bent material varied in a cross sectional shape, in which cutting is easily performed to form a notch with excellent working precision and bending precision. SOLUTION: In a method to produce a bent material varied in a cross sectional shape, in which for an extruded material 20 having plural flange parts 11, 12 radially branching in a cross section, notched parts 13, 14 are formed by cutting at least one or more plates of the outer edge of the flange parts 11, 12 in an extrusion direction, a work 30 varied in a cross sectional shape is produced and the work is bent by pushing/passing, relating to the work W, the notched part 14 of the flange part 12 existing on the plane including an extrusion direction has a depth of <1/2 of a width W1 of the flange parts 11, 12 and a length equal to or more than an interval in between an adjacent notched part.
