PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type bubblelike aerosol composition forming a stable emulsion and imparting a creamlike foam having a cool feeling by comprising a stock solution and a propellant, the stock solution consisting of an oil component, water and a lipophilic surfacant, and the propellant consisting of dimethyl ether and a carbon dioxide gas. SOLUTION: In a water-in-oil type bubblelike aerosol composition comprising a stock solution and a propellant, the composition comprises 60-98 wt.% of the stock solution consisting of 0.1-50 wt.% of an oil component, 50-95 wt.% of water and 0.1-10 wt.% of a lipophilic surfactant having not more than 9 of HLB, and 1-30 wt.% of dimethyl ether and 0.01-10 wt.% of a carbon dioxide gas as the propellant. A content of the dimethyl ether in the propellant is preferably 10-99.7 wt.%. As the oil component to be used in the stock solution is desirable a hydrocarbon, ester oil, a higher fatty acid, a silicone, fats and oils, wax, or the like, the oil component imparting permeability and gloss to a skin and hair, protecting them to retain a health state and bringing good extensibility.
