PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good printing operation over a long period of time by preventing such a phenomenon that the concn. of the ink stored in an ink tank is lowerd by the washing of a jet nozzle with a solvent supplied at a time of starting-up operation. SOLUTION: At a time of raising operation after the stop of operation, the solvent in a solvent tank T2 is supplied to a jet nozzle 20 to wash the same and the supply of the solvent is stopped to continue the operation of a recovery pump P2 for recovering the solvent and the solvent remaining in the jet nozzle 20, a recovery tube 32 and a recovery pipe 13 is recovered in a recovery tank T3 and, after the residual solvent in respective parts is sufficiently excluded, the jection of the ink is started to prevent the mixing of the solvent with the ink retruned into an ink tank T1. |
