PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw pump of a low cost quietly and efficiently operating without falling off of a cylinder. SOLUTION: This screw pump rotatably accommodates a one lobe active rotor 2, in which a pitch cylinder 2d and a cutting edge cylinder have the same diameter D while a diameter of a tip cylinder 2e is 2D, and a two lobe driven rotor 3 with a pitch cylinder 3d and a tip cylinder having the same diameter 2D while a diameter of a gear tooth bottom cylinder 3e being D, with the rotors 2, 3 being meshed with each other. An infinitesimal part of a tip of both rotors 2, 3 makes annular tooth profiles 2c, 3c moving with being meshed to each other, and a main tooth profile 2a of a section perpendicular to the axis of the active rotor 2 makes cycloid drawn by a tip end point 3c of the driven rotor 3 while a main tooth profile 3a of a section perpendicular to the axis of the driven motor 3 makes trochoid drawn by a tip end point 2b of the active rotor 2.
