PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an engine stall while a vehicle is in starting. SOLUTION: This vehicle start control device is provided with an actuator opening and closing a throttle valve of an engine; an accelerator sensor for sensing the degree of opening of an accelerator as the pedaling amount of an accelerator for the engine; a vehicle speed sensor for sensing the speed of the vehicle loaded with an engine; and a control means for controlling the actuator so that the degree of throttle opening of the throttle valve becomes the throttle opening for starting of wider opening than the target throttle opening set on the basis of the degree of accelerator opening in case the vehicle speed is below the set value while the vehicle is in the starting process.
