PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing type pocket for vehicle of excellent forming facility and assembling facility of a hinge part for rotationally moving a cover body. SOLUTION: This opening/closing type pocket for vehicle is constituted of a base bracket 1 mounted along the recessed part for forming a pocket in a vehicle, a pocket frame 2 pivotally fitted to the lower end of the base bracket 1 by a pivotally fitting means 4, and a cover body 3 stuck to the surface of the pocket frame 2 and driven to be opened/closed together with the pocket frame 2. The pivotally fitting means 4, has a slit in the lengthwise direction to make the outer diameter variable into hinges 5a, 5b respectively formed on the base bracket 1 and the pocket frame 2, and a pipe-like hinge pin 6 is inserted with outer diameter being variable to expand both end parts for slip-out prevention processing.
