PURPOSE: A vacuum suction rolls are provided in which the surface of the rolls is coated with a special fiber, and a vacuum pump is operated in the state that the inside of the rolls is hollow so that a negative pressure(vacuum) is formed inside the rolls, thereby sucking and removing a rolling mill lubricant remained on the surface of a steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: In a vacuum suction roll unit for removing a rolling mill lubricant remained on the surface of a plated steel sheet, the vacuum suction roll unit for removing the rolling mill lubricant on the surface of the steel sheet comprises vacuum suction rolls(51a,51b) which are consisted of a mount and a fiber layer, and which are vertically movably and rotationally installed, wherein a hollow part is formed inside the mount, suction tubes are formed at the wall part of the mount, and the fiber layer is adhered onto the outer circumference of the mount; rotary joints(53) each of which are installed at one end parts of the vacuum suction rolls(51a,51b); a vacuum pump(71) for maintaining the inside of the suction rolls in the vacuum state; an inlet separator(61) which is installed between the vacuum suction rolls(51a,51b) and the vacuum pump(71) so as to separate air and rolling mill lubricant from the wet oil by recovering a wet oil sucked into the vacuum suction rolls(51a,51b); and a discharge separator(81) for exhausting the air separated from the inlet separator(61) into the atmosphere.
