PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device with high operating efficiency for conducting the post-processing like stapling, taking a plurality of sheets discharged from an image forming device as a unit. SOLUTION: An intermediate tray is prepared between a copier and a processing station. A sheet is stayed (S30) in theintermediate tray until a wait time Tw elapses. (in the case NO in S26). When the wait time Tw elapses (YES in S26), the sheet is sent to the processing station (S28). The wait time Tw is determined by a processing time in the processing station, a discharge time from the processing station and a conveyance time from the copier, and varies with the number of unit sheets in the processing station. |
