PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operation with natural movement of a game player without direct operation of operating means. SOLUTION: A video monitor 13 is provided in front of a game device frame 2. An operation panel 11 is provided right under the video monitor 13 and light receivers 15 for detecting a position are provided at both upper sides of the video monitor 13. A game processing board 10 for controlling the whole game device, an operating means control board 16 for controlling a maracas- shaped operating means 20 operated by a player and a position detecting board 17 for detecting the position of the operating means 20 are provided in the game device frame 2 under the video monitor 13.
