DEVICE FOR ATTACHING/DETACHING TUNDISH STOPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such problems as the setting space and come-off of the connection and to stably execute a casting operation by quickly and reliably executing the attachment/detachment of a stopper in a tundish for continuous casting and a cylinder for elevating/lowering the stopper with a compact mechanism. SOLUTION: A stopper driving shaft 6 arranged at the outside of the tundish 2 so as to be elevated/lowered by linking with the stopper, a cylinder 7 for elevating/lowering the stopper fixedly arranged at the outside of the tundish 2 in a parallel direction with the stopper driving shaft 6 and directing a rod 7a downward and a connecting arm 8 connected with the stopper driving shaft 6 and extending the tip part to the lower part of the rod 7a are provided, and the rod 7a and the connecting arm 8 are arranged so as to be attachable/ detachable with a rotary type tapered key 9.
