PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a function as a reinforcing member by means of a simple structure by connecting steel materials integrally while meshing concentric projections and recesses on a non-slip machined face or non-slip machined faces arranged on one face or both faces of joined steel materials with each other. SOLUTION: In a brace sheet 24, a non-slip machined face 24B constructed of concentric projections and recesses is formed around a bolt hole 24A on the face touching a brace plate 25. In a disc type joint part 25A in the brace plate 25, a non-slip machined face 25C constructed of concentric projections and recesses is formed on the face touching the brace sheet 24. The brace sheet 24 and the disc type joint part 25A are overlapped to each other with the projections and recesses in the non-slip machined faces 24B, 25C fitted and meshed mutually, and a brace member 23 is constructed when they are connected together. Both ends of a tension member 22 are connected to the opposite corner parts in a frame structure via the brace member 23. In this way, connected steel materials can be joined together with sufficiently high joint strength.
