PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a device and to surely form a scrap ball. SOLUTION: Scrap 1a from a side trimmer 2, is guided to a clamp part 21d of a coiling drum 21 by guide members 25, 22, in which at least its downstream side is a moving guide part 22, a scrap end part is clamped by the clamp part 21d, after clamping the moving guide part 22 is turned or moved, a succeeding part of the scrap 1a is stored in a scrap pool 23, the coiling drum 21 is rotated, the succeeding part of the scrap 1a including the scrap 1a stored in the scrap pool 23 is coiled to a scrap ball 10, a conventional pusher and a feeder arm, which are prone to fail to clamp scrap and drop scrap in transporting are abolished, the scrap 1a from the side trimmer 2 is directly guided to the coiling drum 21 and is coiled by surely clamping.
