PURPOSE: An apparatus for collecting statistics data in a mobile communication system is provided to make a main measurement and statistics handling unit transmit statistics data libraries and various statistics data to a statistics and measurement manager, so as to collect and manage statistics data relating to packet data services including trans-coder bank(TCB) data and circuit data services in the presently-developing mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: A base transceiver station(BTS) measurement and statistics handling unit(295) collects statistics data such as states of calls generated in real time under control of a BTS call control unit(260) and usage frequencies of a BTS interface trunk, and transmits the collected statistics data to a base station controller(BSC)(12N). A packet maintenance handling unit(234) accesses statistics data stored in a packet data control unit(232), and transmits the statistics data to a main measurement and statistics handling unit(212). A circuit maintenance handling unit(244) accesses statistics data stored in a circuit data control unit(242), and transmits the statistics data to the main measurement and statistics handling unit(212). An air termination processor(ATP) maintenance handling unit(254) accesses statistics data stored in an ATP call control unit(252), and transmits the statistics data to the main measurement and statistics handling unit(212). The main measurement and statistics handling unit(212) accesses or reads statistics data stored in a statistics data library(214), and transmits the statistics data to a statistics and measurement manager(105) of a base station manager(100). |
