Located in upper portion of receiving compartment on horizontal load-bearing perforated diaphragm is one or several layers of filter medium for cleaning and conditions starting water upward through filter medium. Provision is made for two groups of overflow ports: one group for transfer of cleaned water from receiving compartment to reservoir is located smoothly over perimeter of tower walls at similar height above upper layer of filter medium and second group intended for transfer of cleaned water from reservoir to water intake pit is located in walls of tower above bottom of reservoir.
