PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording medium, which is excellent in rough finished paper transferability, scratch resistance in image, smear resistance and, in addition, blocking resistance. SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer recording medium, which is formed by laminating a peel ply including one or more kinds of waxes and a thermal transfer ink layer on a base material in the order named, one kind of a particle group A having an average particle diameter, which is not less than 0.1 μm and is less than 0.5 μm, and a particle group B having an average particle diameter, which is not less than 0.5 μm and is not more than 5.0 μm. |
